Ferrytoll sits right by the M90 at the Admiralty junction, close enough to Rosyth, Inverkeithing and North Queensferry that it's a natural interchange point for people combining car or taxi travel with a bus service onward across the bridge. It's mainly set up for commuter bus services rather than rail, so it suits a slightly different type of journey than the railway stations nearby.

A taxi makes sense here when your timing doesn't match the bus schedule, when you're travelling outside the hours buses run frequently, or when you've got luggage, tools or equipment that's awkward on public transport. We also pick up passengers being dropped at Ferrytoll by a bus that terminates there, continuing their journey on into Rosyth, Inverkeithing or North Queensferry by taxi.

Rosyth Dockyard and Pitreavie Business Park staff living further afield sometimes use Ferrytoll as a changeover point between a longer bus or car journey and a short taxi hop to their actual workplace, particularly for early or late shifts when bus frequency drops.
